Samurai

I've only been here a week but I am already dreaming of little california rolls (king crab of course) and spicy tuna rolls (I miss you monkey!)....

Well thanks to some prior research (i.e., watching the armo soap operas) I learned that there is a sushi restaurant in Yerevan, so of course I had to check it out.

Melody and I set off with my little guide book, on the hunt for sushi. Now, Armenia is a landlocked country and the fish sure isn't coming from Sevan, so I wonder is it flown in from Japan??

Anyway, we walked in to an empty restaurant. Never a good sign. We ordered, waited, and hoped we wouldn't go home with food poisoning. Surprisingly, I must say I was quite impressed with Samurai. The place was nicely decorated with  a japanese flair and the sushi wasn't half bad. Don't get me wrong, it's no Nobu but it works.

By the time we finished lunch the place was full of people, mostly locals all having a good time.
