Bunker Revisited

Once again, I did something I never thought I would do in Armenia(I feel like I've been repeating this line a lot lately)-sing Karaoke. Karaoke clubs are really popular here, there are lots of them in the city. Being the true "natives" that we Birthrighter's have become, we decided to do as the locals do and sing.

During my first trip to Armenia, this one particular place- Bunker- became very special to me. A few of us (the three of you know who you are) had a great time there one evening until the wee hours of the morning, with cocktails and an entire bucket of chocolate ice cream (we started with one order each but eventually just told the waiter to bring out the whole bucket)- senior trip was such an experience. Well now, Bunker has become a karaoke bar- our karaoke bar of choice.

Unfortunately, the place has become a little cheesy, it isn't the Bunker of 4 years ago. But they've still got great cocktails and phenomenal ice cream.  No buckets this time around. Just Karaoke. Lots of Russian Karaoke...

(Images from top: the new Asian theme at Bunker, Natasha and Armen getting into the swing of it-ahh the words are wrong, Gapo and I getting ready to sing, some of the locals putting in a request, local boy showing us what he's got, Armen Melody and I doing what we do best- posing for the camera, Armen and Natasha singing again, my new friend Ellen and I, Paulene's face saying OMG not another russian song, Melody and I singing LeAnn Rhimes, nice cosmo greattt ice cream)!
